An external 3D laser scan survey in central Manchester to capture the infrastructure in relation to capturing all visible services and the infrastructure layout for redevelopment purposes. Spatial Jigsaw initially scanned the area concerned, relating the survey information to the OSD (Ordnance Survey Datum) by means of separate GPS and TOPO survey. Our detailed 3D model of the area was utilised by the project team to ascertain the impact of the intended new development during the design stage of the project.
